Internship Placements

Printer-friendly version

"UTeach Internships are extremely valuable. Local schools and other organizations get interns that are knowledgeable of the subject matter which helps enhance their student's learning experience. UTeach students get a significant amount of financial support which, helps ease the burden on their parents or whoever else may be supporting them financially. It's a win-win"   - UTeach Intern.

The goals of UTeach and the UTeach Internship program are to address the critical need for highly qualified STEM teachers.  The UTeach Internship program partners with STEM focused organizations and local schools to help fill the growing demand for high-quality STEM pre-service teachers, mentors, and tutors. UTeach interns gain valuable field experience while bringing innovative and effective STEM teaching methods to K-12 students; especially in underserved areas of the community
