Degree Holders

UTeach Offers Several Pathways for Degree Holders

If you're a UT student, earning certification through the UTeach traditional pathway requires a minimum of four semesters. Students are admitted in both the fall and spring semesters and scheduling is flexible.

If you already have a STEM degree, you can earn certification through our accelerated program, UTeach for Texas.

The College of Education is pleased to announce the creation of GradUTeach, a master’s program. By the end of the two-year, in-person program, students will graduate with a Master of Arts degree in STEM Education and be prepared for teaching certification.
